INTERNET BIRDING SITES:
You can't carve what you don't know. The more birds you see in their natural habitat, the better your carvings will be. Pick up your binoculars, your birding scope, and bird guide and spend some quality time getting to know the birds in your favorite birding areas. Consider becoming a member of an active bird club. It will bring you into contact with people with similar interests and get you into the field to see more birds.
The next best thing to actual birding is internet birding. Here are two good photography sites with excellent bird pictures. Be careful to observe copyright laws.
Avian Gallery at Nature Photographers Online Magazine
Galleries at PBase (look for bird galleries)
SOME OF MY OTHER INTERESTS:
I have several other interests beside bird carving and birding. Since this is my web site, I have taken the liberty of creating this link to those other interests. If you are curious, click here to be taken there. There is nothing about carving or birds there though!
